Rally For Justice North Carolina Assembly Building
This is the second Rally for Clydia Hemingway, who has invited Mary’s Voice to join her. This advocacy event was already planned prior to Thursday’s horrific mass shooting and murders. The tragic events that unfolded in North Carolina and the push for Justice For Victims is our motivation for the Rally. Clydia's son, Donqwavias Davis, age 22, was shot to death Wednesday evening near UNC Charlotte at the University Village Apartments. He had just registered at UNCC and was attending a vigil for the victims of the mass shooting at UNCC the day before. The day after Donqwavias was shot, the students held a vigil in his honor as well. Clydia is deeply passionate not only about gun violence but also about all murder and the victims affected by it. With the recent shooting in Raleigh, we have even more reason to be a voice for justice at these rallies. Join us as we unite for Mary Santina events and speak out against violence.
