Fourth person arrested in the Charlotte homicide investigation of a missing 20-year-old woman, Mary Collins. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have charged a fourth individual in the murder of Mary Collins, who had been missing since March 28. Following leads, police located the body of the missing woman on Rollerton Road on April 4. Detectives have identified and charged 18-year-old America Diehl for her involvement in this tragic case, seeking justice for Mary. During the investigation, Diehl emerged as a suspect, and warrants were issued for her arrest. She voluntarily turned herself into the Thornton Police Department in Thornton, Colorado, and has since been transferred to the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, where she faces charges of felony accessory after the fact and concealing a death. Previously, police arrested James Salerno, 20, Lavi Pham, 21, and Kelly Lavery, 24, who are also in custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, facing charges of kidnapping and murder related to Mary Collins' murder.
